ACT
The ACT is a standardized test admissions officers use to compare applications from different schools and different states. The ACT has four sections: English, Reading, Math and Science, as well as an optional 40-minute Writing test.
The state of Minnesota offers students the test during the junior year of high school. Holdingford High School will offer the ACT to juniors in early April, otherwise students can test at a local test site on a National Testing date. ACT scores are not included on your high school transcripts. If you would like a copy of your ACT score sent to a college, you are able to do this through your MY ACT account for free on up to four colleges before having to pay. |
